The Big Sis Club is a women-led mentorship initiative created to provide a safe, supportive space for teen girls ages 13–19. Founded in August 2024 by Delilah Martinez and friends, The Big Sis Club was built on the belief that confidence, self-love, and guidance are essential during a girl’s formative years.
At its core, Big Sis Club focuses on self-confidence, self-love, and personal growth. Through intentional programming, the club places girls in proximity to inspiring women doing meaningful work, allowing them to see what’s possible for their own futures. Our gatherings center on honest conversation, sisterhood, and learning practical life skills that support independence and empowerment.
The Big Sis Club creates a space where girls feel seen, heard, and supported, where questions are welcomed, individuality is celebrated, and growth happens together. Through mentorship, hands-on workshops, and shared experiences, the program nurtures confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of self that girls carry with them beyond the space.

Our mission for 2026 is to equip teen girls with practical, real-world life skills through our Toolbox 101: Carpentry & Life Skills Workshop.
Why We’re Doing This

To teach skills that promote self-sufficiency, safety, and confidence
What the Girls Will Learn
How to safely use basic tools (hammer, drill, level, screwdriver, tape measure)
Hanging frames, mirrors, and shelves
Assembling furniture and completing simple home projects
Basic home repair and problem-solving skills
